This crushable summertime red wine is Syrah based and 100% from up on Underwood Mountain between 900 and 1500 ft in elevation. This wine is just fun and carefree. It has instantly become the most popular wine in our tasting room as it defies all expectations. It’s made with high altitude Syrah picked at 21 brx and fermented on skins for only 3 days. It is blended with a spicey Gruner Veltliner and a little Pinot Noir rosé from our own vineyard. It does have the effects of the 2020 growing season present, but holds the smoke well.
