This is one 500-liter barrel (equivalent to 2 barrels), and it was our absolute favorite barrel from this vineyard. We wanted to do something special with it so we held it over an additional 6 months on the lees. It has all the bright character of the original Four Winds with the additional structure, texture and savory minerality achieved by extended time on the lees. This wine really does want to be aged. If you open it soon, it will be delicious with a little time in a decanter before serving. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered.
